The First Solid Planet Is Found Outside Our Solar System

Here's the link to the article ---> http://thestar.com/sciencetech/article/696936

The American did it again. A new planet, Corot-7b, is found outside our solar system. It is not that there has never been a planet discovered outside our solar system, in fact, there has been hundreds of them! It's just that Corot-7b is the first solid planet, outside the solar system. However, this planet is boiling hot! It is certainly not suitable for us, humans to live in. Scientists that discovered this planet claims that it is "too toasty to sustain life".
That maybe true on Earth, but how can scientists be certain that no living creatures or things, are surviving there. Of course, these "creatures" and "living things" are beyond our knowledge. But maybe, just MAYBE...there is a world in there, similar to ours. This brings me to my other question.
If technology on Earth gets extremely more advanced and created a suit that would let you go into Corot-7b for a day, would you try and go? I know I would. Just imagine, being the first to go into a new unknown planet. You, being the first to discover what it's like to actually be in another planet other than Earth, would be extremely fascinating. Even seeing a little plant in there would make world history!
In my opinion, since we found a new solid planet, no matter where in space it is, narrows down our chances in finding an actual planet that is suitable for human life. Finding a planet that has the correct attributes to carry on human life is very important because billions of years later, the Earth would corrupt and humans would have to find another home in Space. However, since the technology will be very advanced by then, mankind would have found another planet, not Corot-7b, to support human life.
To sum it up, although finding a planet in Space which is able to sustain human life is still not in sight, finding the planet Corot-7b is a huge discovery. A discovery that makes us another step closer in finding the ideal planet.

Shouldn't we concentrate on making our planet the ideal planet, after all this is where life started for us.
